Three-year-old Isaac has lost his well-loved stuffed monkey, Nana, on the streets near Mitchell Park, and his family is offering a reward for the animal's safe return.
Isaac's dad David bought Nana for his son in Japan three years ago. The stuffed animal has since been around the world on vacation with the family.
"That was the first and really the only stuffed animal that my son really bonded with because he kind of looks a little different," she said. "Nana is very well loved. He was dirty, falling apart, stuffing falling out, having been loved by a kid."http://www.paloaltoonline.com/news/show_story.php?id=3636

All in all, it was a good day for 3-year-old Palo Altan Isaac Hilbert.
He was reunited with his lost stuffed monkey Thursday after the teenager who found it returned the beloved simian for a $30 reward.
The Weekly published the story on www.PaloAltoOnline.com Wednesday afternoon, and it was later picked up by NBC 11 for the late-night news broadcast.
The teenager's girlfriend saw the story of the absent ape on television, called her boyfriend and told him the family wanted the monkey back."I thought she was joking," he said. "It seemed a little weird to be on the news."The teenager, whose first name is Thomas, sent Armstrong an e-mail that night. The two arranged to meet at Mitchell Park today for the swap.
Armstrong gave Thomas a thank you card, and he posed for photos with the family, holding his $30 reward.Isaac, feeling a bit shy from all the attention, sat down and cradled Nana in his arms.
"He is just so happy to have him back," Armstrong said.
